Terms of service

These terms govern your use of namewright.io. By using the service or buying tokens, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What the service provides

namewright.io uses automated tools to suggest and assess names, check domain availability, and provide related information. Results are decision support, not legal, trademark, financial, or professional advice. They do not guarantee that a name is distinctive, registrable, lawful, commercially suitable, or free from third-party rights.

Domain availability and pricing

Domain availability, premium status, and prices can change at any time. Checks may rely on registry data, domain-research providers, and indicative pricing data. A result marked unverified has not been confirmed by a live source. Even verified results are only a snapshot and do not reserve a domain.

Always confirm availability, eligibility requirements, first-year price, renewal price, taxes, and fees with the registrar before purchasing. Registration is a separate transaction between you and the registrar.

Your responsibility for a name

Suggestions are not exclusive and the same or similar name may be suggested to others. Before adopting a name, you are responsible for appropriate trademark, company-name, regulatory, linguistic, and market checks. You are also responsible for how you use a result and for obtaining any necessary professional advice.

Tokens and payments

• Prices are shown in US dollars unless stated otherwise.
• Tokens are prepaid service credits, not money, property, or a transferable asset.
• One token currently covers one generated name with checks across the selected domains. Other actions may have a separately displayed token cost.
• The applicable price and token quantity are shown before checkout. Purchases are processed by Polar, our merchant of record — the payment transaction is between you and Polar, and we do not receive your full card details. Taxes such as VAT may be added at checkout where applicable.
• Promotional or free tokens have no cash value.

Refunds

When the service fails to deliver a charged result, the app may automatically restore the corresponding tokens. This does not apply to results you simply dislike or decide not to use.

Purchases of tokens are otherwise final once credited, except where applicable law requires a refund. If you were charged incorrectly, tokens were not credited, or the service was materially unavailable, contact support@namewright.io with the account email and payment date. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights.

Accounts and acceptable use

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your email secure. Do not misuse the service, evade usage limits, automate abusive traffic, interfere with its operation, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or use it to violate law or third-party rights. We may restrict or suspend access reasonably necessary to protect the service, other users, or our providers.

Your content and service operation

You keep your rights in briefs and other content you submit. You give us permission to process that content only as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the service, subject to the choices and practices described in our Privacy & cookies notice.

Third-party services and affiliate links

The service links to registrars and uses third-party providers including Polar, Supabase, OpenRouter, and domain-data services. Their own terms and privacy notices may apply. Some registrar links may be affiliate links, meaning we may receive a commission without increasing the price you pay. We do not control or endorse a registrar's availability, pricing, products, or conduct.

Availability of the service

We aim to keep the service reliable, but it is provided on an “as available” basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost opportunities, or a third party registering a domain before you do.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. We will post the revised terms here with a new effective date. Material changes will apply prospectively. Continuing to use the service after they take effect means you accept the updated terms.
